Here are two small photos that I rescued in the late 1960s from the ruins of the office at Camp Betar house, which I think was located in Hunter, NY --or another town nearby, whose name I cannot recall.
I visited the remains of the camp with Tuvia Schwartz and Bella Bryks and we spent a short time rummaging through the few documents that were left strewn around, mostly water-soaked and beyond recovery. It was a sorry sight.
[The camp near Hunter, N.Y. is where Ze'ev Jabotinsky - Rosh Betar - died in the summer of 1940.]
Here's a close-up of the marching picture - 40's or 50's - any ideas or identifications?
