The Annual Post-Commemoration Get-together
As is our custom, North American Betarim pay respect to two Betar North America graduates who fell during their service in the Israel Defense Forces: Eli Solomon and Chuck (Haim) Hornstein (Haran).
And afterwards, Reuven and Yehudit Miller host a get-together and their home in Jerusalem.

Hi, do you know the names of some of the participants in those photos?
Somehow, I never see or ever hear the names of my Betar crowd (1946-1949) including Moshe Arens (Netziv Betar in my day), Dave and Miriam Krakow, (Dave was in the Netziviut), Motel Kreiner z"l, Morty Dolinsky z"l, Lee Melis, Bernard Troy (Troyansky in those days), Marty Sicker, Marvin Krakow z"l. Jack Albalah,( Elitzur z"l, after Misha our next Netziv Betar.) Rita Gordon (later Kraushar), Zvi and Shmuel Kraushar, I can go on and on..but I think you've got the idea of my Betar days. Hi, I would have been pleased to contact you...I was very active in Betar, and when the office secretary went on vacation, Misha (Moshe) asked me,when I came home from high school, to take over the office.
Years later I made aliyah-with my husband and my children and we lived in Jerusalem. I visited Misha & his wife Muriel,in Savyon and we kept in touch until they both recently passed away. Over the years I also kept in touch with Dave Krakow and his wife Miriam. They lived in New Jersey, and after he passed away, I kept in touch with Miriam.
When Misha made aliyah, "Elitzur" became the next Natziv .I believe his last name was Friedman! He too has passed away.
After making aliyah in 1970, my dear friend Motel (Mordechai) Kreiner and his wife Iris, later lived in Savyon, also kept in touch with us. My other friend, Morty Dolinsky lived in Jerusalem, and he was also a good friend, and sadly, he too passed away. C'est la vie!
